April Fools’ Shoot

Easton Salt Lake Archery Center presents its annual April Fools Shoot! What better way to celebrate April Fools than to shoot an unorthodox archery tournament that mixes it up a bit. You will be sure to have an event experience like no other.

Distance:

18 meters (all ages)

Targets:

Targets will be Vertical Differential Learning Target Face * see image below
- all divisions shoot verticle 3 spot

Rules:

USA Archery shooting procedures. Special rules listed below
Three arrow ends
Shooting line will alter between AB/CD and CD/AB each end

Special Rules:

27/64” Arrows allowed
1 minutes 50 seconds per end
11 ends total (33 scoring arrows)
Archers will flip targets faces upside down after 6 ends; bottom target will be on top position and top target will move to bottom.

Scoring:

Scoring area of each target will consist of 6 scoring rings increasing in sequential order from outer most ring inward. Outer most ring value is 6 and inner most ring value “X” which is also valued at 10 points. “X” count will be used as a tie breaker.
Arrow shaft need only touch a line to count towards the inner ring value bordering the line.
